Today’s bit of Every Day Fiction is “Lester’s Lucky Day” by Anne Marie Gomez. The current ranking is 4.6/5, and it almost never gets that high. But the story completely deserves it. While the beginning is kind of dry (and you think you know where it’s going to go), the ending catches you by complete surprise.
